Mezzalana Trophy, international ski touring race in Aosta Valley (13/04/2007 )
The event is in Breuil-Cervinia on the 29th April 2007 (Monday 30th April in case of bad weather) for the start of the Mezzalama Trophy; the famous ski touring race the unites technique and competitiveness at extreme levels, held every two years.

The start is expected to take place on the 29th April before sunrise in Breuil-Cervinia, Bardoney area. Participants, roped in teams, ascend the Ventina run arriving at the first check point “Colle del Breithorn” (3,826 metres), continue across the “Passo di Verra” to the peak of “Castore” (4,226 metres) and then along the glacier of “Felik” to “Passo del Naso” of “Lyskamm”. From here the descent to the arrival at 1,637 metres in Gressoney La Trinité.
